Working on zombies
Working on some zombie designs and behavior, some of these are still missing body animations and we didn't do the arms and heads animations yet.
Also just for kicks, I did a little stress test to see how many zombies the engine can handle. While I have no plans to let you fight hundreds of zombies at once, it's nice to know it's a possibility, even before optimizations.
Fun tidbit, you might notice that from 0:40 there is a sort of musical beat going on, almost like electric drums with a creepy sound. I didn't add any additional sound or music there, what actually happening is the zombie spawning sound, which happens repeatedly every 2 seconds, is creating a steady beat. I was surprise when I first heard it, I was like, I didn't add any drums here, but that sounds cool, what is going on??? If you'll listen to the first few zombie spawning's, you would hear the low beat (kick drums) followed by growl (snare drum). Now I need to sample it for other places in the game, it's just too cool :)
P.S the player's attack/combo animations are still mock-ups, we'll be doing those soon.
